Position Overview:

As a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive at Databricks, you will leverage your extensive sales expertise to engage with large-scale enterprise clients. Your role involves championing innovation and facilitating transformative change by enhancing customer perspectives and accelerating decision-making processes. You possess a deep understanding of our product offerings and are enthusiastic about conveying their benefits to both customers and system integrators. Your proactive approach will enable you to secure new business while nurturing existing relationships. In addition to the opportunity to finalize significant deals, we provide performance incentives for exceeding 100% of your sales targets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present a comprehensive territory strategy within your initial 90 days.
  • Engage with CIOs, IT leaders, line-of-business executives, program managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive the acquisition of new clients while managing and expanding current accounts.
  • Identify and capitalize on quick wins while overseeing longer, intricate sales processes.
  • Surpass activity, pipeline, and revenue benchmarks.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including use cases, purchasing timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Employ a solution-oriented sales methodology to deliver value to clients.
  • Advocate for Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform, powered by Apache Spark.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction across all engagements.
  • Prioritize sales opportunities and allocate appropriate resources effectively.
  • Construct a strategic success plan both internally at Databricks and externally with your clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an early-stage company with a proven track record of success.
  • Field sales background in big data, cloud computing, or SaaS environments.
  • Established relationships with CIOs, program managers, and key decision-makers.
  • Able to simplify and explain complex cloud technologies.
  • Over 5 years of experience consistently exceeding sales quotas in the enterprise sector.
  • Proven success in acquiring new clients while managing existing accounts.
  • Familiarity with Spark and big data technologies is advantageous.
  • A strong passion for cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
