About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Retail SaaS sales team at Software International. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing a world-class, customer-focused enterprise sales organization that drives growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Achieve strong year-over-year bookings results by developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with our company's goals.
  • Lead Demand Generation: Actively lead demand generation activities to build and expand the sales pipeline, ensuring a strong ROI on sales investments.
  • Set and Meet Sales Quotas: Set, meet, and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and objectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Foster a Sales Culture: Develop and maintain a sales culture focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving customer satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Monitor and Adjust Sales Coverage: Continuously monitor and adjust the sales coverage model to ensure a strong ROI on sales investments, measuring and adjusting sales strategies as needed.
  • Coach and Mentor Sales Team: Measure, coach, mentor, and top-grade the sales team to exceed targets, providing guidance and support to ensure sales team success.
  • Report Sales Progress: Report monthly on sales progress, activities, highlights, challenges, and insights, providing actionable recommendations to improve sales performance.
  • Establish Sales Policies: Establish and reinforce sales policies, consultative selling processes, and account planning standards, ensuring data accuracy in sales records for projections up to 12 months.
  • Manage Customer and Sales Team Escalations: Effectively manage customer and sales team escalations in collaboration with peers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Conduct Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to refine sales practices, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
About You
  • Experience: 15+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 10+ years of experience leading a sales team and achieving exceptional results.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, with an MBA being an asset.
  • Skills: Strong consultative sales acumen, client-focused leadership style, and prior experience working with retail sector SaaS or retail marketing.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record in selling enterprise solutions, building strong industry relationships, and attracting, developing, and retaining top sales talent.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing sales teams, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and executive engagement skills, with superior communication and active listening skills.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel more than 20% of the time, with flexibility to work across North America during Eastern Standard Time zone business hours.
