Position Overview:

Are you an enthusiastic professional with a strong affinity for technology and sales? Reporting directly to the Country Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive Proya's sales growth in Canada and the USA, focusing on Enterprise Architecture and/or Engineering Lifecycle Management. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of technology products and services, coupled with the ability to articulate their value to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking skills and a proven history of success in technology sales or business development within the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and generate new business leads through various outreach methods, including direct communication with key decision-makers in both Canadian and US markets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business challenges and providing tailored solutions.
  • Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical teams to grasp product offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients through engaging presentations and proposals.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-ups and prioritizing opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Assist in negotiations regarding pricing and contracts to secure new business, aligning with the company's profit objectives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Maintain and develop relationships with vendors and identify strategic partnerships to broaden market reach and enhance revenue.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Generate accurate sales forecasts and reports to provide insights into sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or consulting roles.
  • Proven success in B2B sales within the Canadian market.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven capability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture tools (preferably MEGA HOPEX) and/or IBM ELM tools is advantageous.
