Your Role

The Cybersecurity Solutions Advisor represents the next generation of the traditional Sales Engineering position, aligning our efforts to best support our clients in comprehending their environments, offering solution insights, and ensuring they realize the value of their investment with Palo Alto Networks. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and expertise, guiding customers through their security transformation journey.

Your Contributions

Curiosity is at the heart of the Cybersecurity Solutions Advisor role, and you view complex challenges as opportunities to learn and deliver innovative solutions. You define your contributions by:

  • Surpassing sales targets by developing and executing strategic, technical account plans that focus on cross-platform solutions.
  • Your capability to position, showcase, and create high-level designs across the entire PANW portfolio based on client business requirements.
  • Conducting in-depth discovery to comprehend and articulate the essential technical, operational, and commercial priorities of your prospects and clients.
  • Collaborating closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure comprehensive customer implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills and the ability to influence through effective presentations, customer-specific demonstrations, technical engagements, and workshops.
  • Leading successful technical validation initiatives based on best practices to secure technical wins in assigned opportunities.
  • Coordinating supporting resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) to ensure a unified approach that demonstrates a cohesive strategy.
  • Promoting comprehensive solutions that encompass PANW and/or partner professional services to ensure clients realize business value more swiftly.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and effectively differentiating our leadership position.
  • Continuously investing in your professional development to enhance technical and professional skills that drive your growing contributions to customer success while actively engaging within the Solutions Consultant community and at industry events.
  • (OT) - Identifying technical stakeholders and nurturing relationships with key personas to develop and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap.

Your Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data networking and/or contemporary application design and cloud architectures.
  • Delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
  • Gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, whether in a customer-facing or internal capacity; prior experience in a pre-sales role is advantageous.
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation sessions.
  • Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
  • Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
  • Complex sales involving lengthy sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions are preferred.
  • Proficient in English.
