New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company is seeking a Cybersecurity IAM Specialist to help our client evaluate and design a secure identity management solution for a proposed external web portal, ensuring optimal security posture, integration with existing systems, and cost-effective implementation.


Responsibilities:


  • Assess the proposed web portal's design for potential security risks.
  • Develop an identity management architecture tailored to the portal's needs.
  • Propose a comprehensive security strategy, considering existing security standards, goals, and investments.
  • Outline implementation and sustainment efforts, including required staff resources and associated costs.
  • Provide a final report detailing the recommended design, focusing on optimal security and sustainability.
  • Ensure the proposed solution integrates seamlessly with existing security measures.
  • Create and review IAM solutions that align with organizational requirements and support the web portal.
  • Assess the proposed web portal's integration with existing security tools, ensuring scalability and automation.
  • Identify and mitigate security risks by mapping them to existing or proposed controls and processes.
  • Estimate costs for implementing and sustaining the proposed design, covering security monitoring and incident response.
  • Outlines data flows, automations, integrations, and controls.
  • Assesses risks and maps them to controls.
  • Analyzes implementation and sustainment costs, considering current investments and resources.


Requirements:


  • 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management
  • Demonstrated Expertise in Cloud Security Architecture, Identity and Access Management design and implementation, Security strategy development, Web Application Security
  • Deep understanding of IAM systems, IAM automation, IAM security, integration of IAM systems with security stacks
  • Familiarity with best in breed security solutions for all relevant security domains
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, frameworks, and threat modeling specific to web applications
  • Cross-Disciplinary expertise in order to collaborate well with internal teams both technical and business focused, as well as ensure proper understanding of the overall organizational directives and strategies.
  • Experience in cost estimation for both implementation and sustainment.
  • Commitment to compliance and best practices.
  • Proven experience in similar projects, with references or case studies to demonstrate evaluation and design of similar solution
