About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Mister Convenience. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, building trust and loyalty.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that it is running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Manage inventory levels, ordering merchandise as needed to ensure that the store is fully stocked.
    • Authorize returns and exchanges, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to management.
    • Analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that the store is secure and safe, implementing measures to prevent theft and ensure customer safety.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, working together to prevent crime.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other members of the store operations team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
