Job Summary

Goldfinch Services Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to lead our team and drive sales growth. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Authorize Payments and Orders: Process payments, authorize returns, and place orders for merchandise to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs.
  • Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and provide solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates to ensure efficient store operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, and a team player.
