Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Store Operations
- Oversee the ordering and receipt of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing way.
- Authorize returns and exchanges, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Sales and Customer Service
- Meet or exceed sales targets, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Security and Safety
- Ensure that the store is secure and safe at all times, implementing measures to prevent theft and minimize the risk of accidents.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other members of the store operations team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
- Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and up-to-date.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
