Job Summary

The Drake Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for performing nightly audit and guest service functions with the highest degree of professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet all guests with enthusiasm and provide information regarding all aspects of what The Drake has to offer.
  • Telephone Etiquette: Exercise outstanding telephone etiquette, ensuring phones are answered promptly.
  • Room Reservation Protocol: Ensure all aspects of room reservation protocol are followed, including bookings, confirmations, and cancellation policies.
  • Check-in and Check-out Procedures: Follow Drake check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring mandatory details are covered while building genuine rapport and relationships with guests.
  • Guest Requests: Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner with follow-up communication to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Housekeeping Communication: Communicate effectively with Housekeeping staff to facilitate room turnover, when necessary.
  • Lobby Cleanliness: Monitor hotel lobby cleanliness and participate in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times.
  • Programming and Events: Have a full understanding of all DJ, Art, and live music programming and communicate it in a manner that will encourage all clients to enjoy all that Drake has to offer.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with Security and F+B teams to provide genuine, professional, top-quality service to all Drake guests at all times.
  • Confidentiality: Ensure that all correspondence, as a Drake representative, is reflective of all that we, as a world-class hotel, stand for.
  • Product Knowledge: Have the highest level of comprehension of all Drake products.
  • Audit Tasks: Perform all Audit tasks related to InnQuest/RoomMaster systems with 100% efficiency and accuracy.
  • Inventory Management: Manage internet inventory and work closely with Hotel Manager to ensure yield management goals are achieved.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any issues or inaccuracies with balancing the audit and seek to solve problems to perform 100% accurate audit.
  • Fire and Safety Regulations: Maintain awareness of fire and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Love of Hospitality: A genuine love of hospitality and a warm engaging spirit.
  • Education and Experience: A combination of formal education and some real-world experience.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Opera Cloud Experience: Opera Cloud experience preferred.
  • Night Audit Experience: Night Audit experience is an asset.
