Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Auditor plays a crucial role in supervising quality standards at the facility, ensuring that products comply with both customer expectations and regulatory requirements. This position involves managing grading initiatives, training staff, conducting product evaluations, and contributing to the development of quality systems.

Primary Duties
  • Oversee the proficiency program for operators and technicians.
  • Facilitate communication among team members and support departments.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold standards for safety, quality, and sanitation.
  • Assess samples and perform quality inspections.
  • Educate staff on sensory evaluation and analytical methods.
  • Address complaints and propose corrective measures.
  • Leverage computer systems for documentation and tracking purposes.
Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Sensory Grading Certification must be obtained within two months. Previous experience in quality assurance or auditing is preferred.

Additional Notes

Candidates must be comfortable working with products that may contain soy, wheat, and dairy. This position is for the night shift and does not offer relocation assistance.
