Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as:

Corporate Human Resources Lead

The Corporate HR Lead will oversee, coordinate, and support the functions of the Corporate Human Resources division at Plasman. Acting as a trusted partner for the corporate workforce, the HR Lead will deliver functional assistance and spearhead company-wide HR initiatives and specific projects across North America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Establish robust relationships with corporate leadership teams to identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement necessary changes.
  2. Examine trends and metrics to devise solutions, programs, and policies.
  3. Collaborate with corporate management to enhance business success and profitability through the development and execution of strategic plans, policies, and programs.
  4. Serve as an advisor to leaders, offering guidance and coaching on sensitive, confidential, and complex HR matters.
  5. Formulate strategies for talent development, succession planning, and onboarding within supported teams.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert on employment laws and regulations.
  7. Possess comprehensive knowledge of the organizational structure, job roles, requirements, and conduct primary job evaluations for classifications and compensation comparisons.
  8. Provide strategic counsel, including coaching, leadership development, performance management, and employee relations.
  9. Engage in various initiatives to promote leadership and cultural alignment across all corporate functions.
  10. Contribute to the broader HR team at Plasman, providing insights and direction on overarching HR matters while representing the interests of partnered business functions.
  11. Oversee payroll administration for corporate employees.
  12. Lead diverse projects that align with the strategic vision of the organization.
  13. Collaborate closely with the VP of HR to assess how global strategies impact corporate leadership and chart a course for enhancing business success through innovative HR programs.
  14. Manage immigration submissions and facilitate communication between legal representatives and employees.
  15. Direct the recruitment process across the corporation to effectively attract and select talent.
  16. Advise the Senior Leadership Team on maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring a safe work environment.
  17. Ensure awareness and understanding of relevant standards and company policies among all associates.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. CHRP designation is considered an asset.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (or equivalent), with a focus on fostering positive employee relations, including experience in both unionized and non-unionized environments, as well as in developing and implementing exemplary policies and practices.
