We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Operations Manager to join our team at The Host Fine Indian Cuisine - Catering. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless daily operations, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, promoting a culture of excellence and adhering to our company's values.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Prepare budgets and cost estimates, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
- Communication: Prepare and submit reports, keeping stakeholders informed of key performance indicators.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment or related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, and flexibility, with a strong team player mentality.
