Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and manage staff performance to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff
  • Set and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • More than 20 years of experience in the food service industry
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
