Trans-United Consultants Ltd is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in the development and implementation of innovative mechanical solutions for our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed 2D and 3D designs with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and clients, to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate existing mechanical systems and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Develop comprehensive design documentation, including technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize your expertise in SolidWorks or similar 3D design software to create high-quality models and assemblies that meet performance and aesthetic requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of proven experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical components, materials, and their properties.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable 3D modeling software is essential.
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise technical documentation and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address design challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Faro Arms. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
