About the Role

Maison Canada Holdings Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Design Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications for mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Project Support: Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, and carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
  • Technical Specialist: Design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures, estimate costs and materials, and prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
  • Contract and Tender Preparation: Prepare contracts and tenders for mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants, supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects, and test machines and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and development.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
