As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our centre, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and analyze the centre's daily activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Motivate Staff: Foster a positive and productive work environment by motivating and supporting staff members to achieve their goals.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the centre's management team, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to electronic inquiries.
  • Office Management: Maintain the centre's office supplies, inventory, and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and in good working order.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Communication: Greet visitors, direct them to contacts or service areas, and respond to correspondence, forms, and other documents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word to perform administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Technical Terminology: Familiarize yourself with business terminology and concepts to effectively communicate with staff and management.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work independently in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision, and demonstrate attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
