Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators, process new referrals and orders, and maintain patient records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Process new referrals and orders for services, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Answer telephone inquiries from patients, families, and service providers.
  • Provide back-up support to other positions as required.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal French is required.
  • A Grade 12 diploma (minimum).
  • 2+ years' related office experience.
  • Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills.
  • Proficient with database software, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
