Our Cultural Heritage division is recognized for delivering top-tier services and insights to a diverse clientele across Canada. We are actively seeking a dedicated Cultural Heritage Specialist/Lead to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with senior management, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive project success.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in heritage planning, conservation, or a related field;
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in cultural heritage;
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP);
  • Recognized as a qualified cultural heritage professional;
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and lead a team;
  • Experience in crafting successful proposals and executing projects;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of heritage legislation and best practices;
  • Experience advising various stakeholders on heritage matters;
  • Proficiency in conducting heritage research and assessments;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools;
  • A valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the growth of the Cultural Heritage group through strategic hires and client development;
  • Prepare and finalize comprehensive cultural heritage reports;
  • Manage proposals, invoicing, and project oversight for cultural heritage initiatives;
  • Engage in client relations and business development activities;
  • Represent McIntosh Perry at industry events and promote our services;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance awareness of our Cultural Heritage offerings.
