Position Overview: Marine Compliance Inspector

Control Union Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated Marine Compliance Inspector to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in marine operations. This role requires a meticulous approach to inspecting watercraft and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections: Assess materials and equipment to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports: Draft detailed investigative reports and analyze data to identify compliance issues.
  • Perform product testing: Execute product testing procedures and document results accurately.
  • Verify documentation: Check and validate the accuracy of all relevant documents.
  • Identify defects: Detect and report any defects found in watercraft vessels.
Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors in various locations, often in rural settings.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a relevant trades certificate or diploma, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
Travel Requirements

The role requires a willingness to travel, with a vehicle provided by the employer, and a valid driver's license is essential.
