About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Surveyor to join our team at Control Union Canada Inc. as a key member of our inspection and evaluation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of watercraft to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports of findings, including technical analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Sample products, perform tests, and record data to verify quality and accuracy.
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of inspection and evaluation activities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in marine surveying or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a strong understanding of industry regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
