About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Surveyor to join our team at Control Union Canada Inc. as a key member of our inspection and evaluation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of watercraft to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports of findings, including technical analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Inspect and evaluate materials and equipment to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Write technical reports and provide expert opinions on marine-related matters.
  • Sample products, perform tests, and record data to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Receive, analyze, and verify copy for accuracy, ensuring that all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
