Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of watercraft to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of watercraft to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports of findings
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards
  • Write technical reports and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Sample products, perform tests, and record data
  • Receive, analyze, and verify copy for accuracy
  • Inspect vessels to identify defects and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
