Position Overview

As a Marine Inspection Specialist at Control Union Canada Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of various watercraft. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards in marine operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in marine surveying or related fields
Work Environment
  • Site Conditions: Primarily outdoors in rural areas and various locations
  • Mobility: Willingness to relocate and travel as required
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and prepare investigative reports based on findings
  • Conduct inspections and evaluations of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with established standards
  • Compose detailed technical reports
  • Collect samples, perform tests, and document results accurately
  • Analyze and verify documentation for precision
  • Inspect vessels to detect any defects or issues
Inspection Types
  • Focus on watercraft inspections
Safety and Security
