Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and organized Executive Chef to oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies
    • Ensure menu items meet dietary and nutritional standards
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Manage kitchen staff and supervise daily operations
    • Ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste
    • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff
    • Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
    • Ensure staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Quality Control
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and presentation
    • Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks
    • Address any quality issues promptly and effectively
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Certifications
    • Criminal record check
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks. A high level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure is essential.
