About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Executive Chef to oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine, with expertise in baking goods and desserts, fish and seafood, meat, poultry, and game, stocks, soups, and sauces, and vegetables, fruits, nuts, and mushrooms.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
  • Supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
  • Create new recipes and menus
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
