Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual who is dedicated to meeting customer needs and ensuring every client feels valued. You will handle customer order inquiries from our distribution centers, collaborating with a team of professional bilingual specialists.

Daily Responsibilities:

Process customer purchase orders received through various channels, including telephone, email, fax, and online platforms, catering to both Canadian and American markets; Analyze customer orders and accounts to propose optimal solutions that save time and resources; Manage inventory transactions and logistics requests using various software systems; Respond to inquiries from customers and the sales team regarding product availability, recommending alternatives and solutions based on their requirements; Follow up with customers on overdue orders that have not been collected; Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate product pick-up and delivery schedules for customers.

A Typical Day:

As a Customer Order Coordinator, your day begins by being available for incoming calls. Typically, calls from our dealer network account for about 20% of your workday. The remaining inquiries are managed through tickets submitted via email, handled on a first-come, first-served basis. As your day progresses, you will collaborate with internal partners, including Transport, Distribution, Production, and Sales, enhancing your understanding of our internal processes and products, which will aid in your future career development within the company. During downtime, you can enjoy a coffee while utilizing your knowledge of ERPs and Microsoft Suite to improve both internal and external processes.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills with a commitment to service excellence and ownership of every customer interaction; Excellent problem-solving abilities, a positive attitude, and keen attention to detail; Capability to multitask, coordinate, prioritize, and follow up within established deadlines; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word; Self-motivated, proactive, and quick to learn; Familiarity with inventory transaction and logistics systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) is considered an asset.
