Position: Assistant Manager - Mass Spectrometry Facility

We are in search of a skilled individual to assume the role of Assistant Manager - Mass Spectrometry Facility. This position is crucial for overseeing the operations of our advanced mass spectrometry facility.

The facility stands as one of the largest privately funded proteomics mass spectrometry centers in the region, equipped with a variety of high-performance mass spectrometers dedicated to de novo protein sequencing services and associated research and development initiatives.

As we broaden our service capabilities, leveraging our proprietary sequencing technology, we are also introducing clinical testing services for conditions such as multiple myeloma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Laboratory Director to ensure the effective management of mass spectrometry instruments and a team of proficient technicians and technologists.
  • Oversee the administration of mass spectrometers and related apparatus to guarantee the seamless functioning of the facility.
  • Engage with suppliers and manage the maintenance and repair of in-house equipment.
  • Assist the Laboratory Director in the daily operations of the laboratory.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a mass spectrometry facility.
  • A Doctorate degree in proteomics mass spectrometry or a related discipline is preferred.
