About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

Main Responsibilities
  • Service Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new service offerings that enhance the customer experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Assist in establishing and maintaining operational protocols to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
  • Cash Handling and Reporting: Manage cash transactions and prepare accurate financial reports to support business decisions.
  • Employee Performance: Conduct regular performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching to team members.
  • Pricing and Inventory: Work with the management team to determine pricing for products and services, and oversee inventory management to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with liquor laws and regulations, and enforce health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier and Client Relations: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and clients to secure the best possible deals.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 11-15 individuals to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused with strong organizational skills, reliable, and able to work well in a team.
  • Multi-Tasking: Capacity to multitask effectively, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Employment Type: Full-time employment with a minimum of 35-40 hours per week.
  • Language: English proficiency required.
