Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Supervisor to join our team at Crafty Ramen Market Inc. as a key member of our food service operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless service delivery and minimizing downtime.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, optimizing inventory management and reducing waste.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring accurate financial planning and control.
- Quality Control and Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Administrative and Reporting
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports, ensuring accurate and timely information for management and stakeholders.
The Unit Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
The language of work is English, and the work term is permanent. The Unit Supervisor will work 40 hours per week.
