About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mr. Mass Food Corporation. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless food service delivery to our customers.

Inventory Management and Requisitioning

Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Financial Management

Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.

Food Order Management

Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food orders.

Delivery and Logistics

Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring prompt and efficient service.

Work Scheduling

Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.

Support for Diverse Groups
  • Physical Accessibility

Provide physical accessibility accommodations, ensuring equal access to our food service operations for all customers.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, promoting diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
