Position Overview
The Disability and Benefits Administrator will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of group insurance, group RRSP, and disability programs across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating eligibility for group insurance and RRSP programs.
  • Reviewing completed enrollment forms and liaising with employees for necessary corrections.
  • Assessing employee requests for changes in insurance coverage and processing them in the appropriate systems.
  • Calculating group insurance premiums as requested by stakeholders.
  • Monitoring premium payments for employees on various types of leave and coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Communicating updates regarding available tools for employees related to group insurance and RRSPs, ensuring proper education on these programs.
  • Managing short and long-term disability cases for divisions across Canada.
  • Serving as the primary contact for brokers and insurers for Canadian divisions.
  • Coordinating with supervisors regarding employees on temporary assignments.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in benefits and disability management.
  • HR degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with thoroughness and discretion.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, analytical skills, and objectivity in task execution.
