Position Overview
The Benefits and Disability Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing group insurance, group RRSP, and disability management across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage eligibility for group insurance and RRSP programs.
  • Review and validate completed enrollment forms, communicating necessary corrections to employees.
  • Assess and process employee requests for changes in insurance coverage within relevant systems.
  • Calculate group insurance premiums as requested by stakeholders.
  • Monitor premium payments for employees on various types of leave and coordinate with inter-departmental stakeholders.
  • Update and communicate available resources related to group insurance and RRSPs, ensuring employee education on these programs.
  • Oversee short and long-term disability cases for divisions across Canada.
  • Act as the primary contact for brokers and insurers for the Canadian divisions.
  • Coordinate with supervisors regarding employees on temporary assignments.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in benefits and disability management.
  • HR degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with thoroughness and discretion.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, analytical skills, and objectivity in task execution.
