Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at MacLean Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, supplies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of stock levels and movements.
- Coordinate and manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of warehouse activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion.
- Diploma or Degree in Materials Management or a related discipline is an asset.
- Previous experience in an MRP/ERP environment is required.
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MRP/ERP) is required.
