We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at MacLean Engineering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management, and driving process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency
- Monitor and analyze warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of warehouse operations and meet business objectives
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of warehouse staff
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance with inventory management procedures
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Diploma or Degree in Materials Management or related field (asset)
- Previous experience in an MRP/ERP environment (required)
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (asset)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
