About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Right Choice Builders Inc. as an Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures: Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Information Coordination: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations, including supervising staff and evaluating daily performance.
  • Staff Development: Motivate staff, plan and control budget and expenditures, and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Office Management: Oversee the classification and rating of occupations, plan and develop recruitment strategies, and manage contracts.
  • Communication: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, oversee the analysis of employee data and information, and compile data, statistics, and other information.
  • Reporting: Oversee the preparation of reports, advise senior management, and respond to employee questions and complaints.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory, and liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
  • Customer Service: Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide customer service, and recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Database Management: Maintain and manage digital databases, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance reviews, evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and other computer software to perform job duties.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain basic security clearance and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Transportation and Travel: Possess own transportation and be able to travel as required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent judgment, be organized, a team player, accurate, client-focused, reliable, and able to multitask, adapt, and be accountable.
