Reports to: Front of House Supervisor/Indoor Operations Manager

Employment Status/Type: Seasonal, Full-time

JOB SYNOPSIS:

As a key member of the Front of House team, you will assist the Food and Beverage team in delivering exceptional culinary resort experiences for our guests. Under the guidance of the Front of House Supervisor and Indoor Operations Manager, you will support the team in championing sustainability initiatives, ensuring smooth food service, and providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in department recruiting, scheduling, and training of front of house staff.
  • Oversee food service, including expediting orders and maintaining inventory of products and supplies.
  • Act as a team lead in the absence of the Front of House Supervisor and ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Champion a sustainable approach in daily operations and promote Whitewater's mission statement and values.
  • Participate in hiring and training staff for the Front of House team.
  • Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory for all front of house products and supplies.
  • Resolve customer complaints and internal conflicts between staff.
  • Ensure opening and closing duties are well done each day in a high-quality manner.
  • Communicate effectively between the Front of House and Back of House teams.
  • Support the Bar team in delivering exceptional service to guests.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are practiced by all staff members.
  • Perform daily washroom checks and maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Provide a positive, memorable, and outstanding guest experience.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Tourism or Business Certification an asset.
  • Food & Beverage Serving it Right.
  • Food safe Level 1.
  • Point of Service Experience an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous leadership experience in the food and beverage sector.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Strong organization and administrative skills.
  • Familiarity with the food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Computer and cash handling experience.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
