JOB SUMMARY:

As a Front of House Team Member at Whitewater Ski Resort, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Process transactions, manage cash handling, and maintain a clean and organized food and beverage area.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives, maintaining a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor the food service area, report any incidents or concerns to your supervisor, and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Restock supplies, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and supervisors, using clear and concise language.

Requirements:

  • Guest Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Food Safe 1 and Serving It Right Certification: An asset, but not required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations.
