Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Team Lead to join our team at Whitewater Ski Resort. As a key member of our Indoor Operations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of front of house staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of front of house staff to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of front of house staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent service.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front of house, including managing inventory, scheduling, and ensuring that all areas of the lodge are tidy and well-organized.
  • Act as a champion for sustainability initiatives and ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to our sustainability policies.
  • Work closely with the Front of House Supervisor to achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the smooth operation of the front of house.

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in a food and beverage or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with the food and beverage industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Computer and cash handling experience with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required and be flexible with scheduling.
  • Current Criminal Records check required as part of the hiring process.
