About the Team

The Global Treasury Technology (GTT) team is responsible for providing technological support for business applications and liquidity reporting.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic business analysts who are committed to continuous learning and have a keen interest in big data systems and their analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for analyzing big data systems. You will collaborate closely with business teams and cross-functional engineering leaders to gather data requirements for various big data and reporting initiatives within GTT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your knowledge of business functions to address challenges and seize improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure that business specifications and requirements documentation is meticulously prepared and comprehensive to support development efforts and various project documentation.
  • Collaborate with GTT technology teams throughout all phases of the system development life cycle, bridging the gap between business and technology.
  • Engage in ad hoc project work across various GTT initiatives.
  • Contribute to the support and maintenance of GTT platforms.
  • Engage with the Business team to analyze regulatory documents and interpret requirements.
  • Prepare Business Architecture and Business Requirement documents.
  • Develop Functional Requirements specifications and maintain a Business Data Requirements Inventory with definitions.
  • Provide overall functional guidance to the technology team.
  • Familiarize yourself with key liquidity regulations such as FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and NCCF.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in Banking Risk Management, Regulatory Domain, or Liquidity Risk & Asset Liability Management.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a complex IT solution environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in an agile work environment.
  • Solid understanding of Liquidity Risk functions, including cash flows, haircuts, and liquidity asset eligibility assessment.
  • Strong analytical skills with effective communication and articulation abilities.
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Experience in a Scrum master or delivery lead role.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for consistency in documentation and requirements.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, ensuring alignment among stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys learning from and teaching others.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science, with strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
