About the Team

The Global Treasury Technology (GTT) team offers technological support for business applications and associated liquidity reporting. This team is committed to excellence and fosters an inclusive environment.

Position Overview

GTT is on the lookout for a dedicated business analyst who is eager to learn and has a strong interest in big data systems and their analytical processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep enthusiasm for analyzing big data systems. You will collaborate closely with business units and cross-functional engineering leaders to collect data requirements for various big data and reporting initiatives within GTT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your knowledge of business operations to address challenges and leverage improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure comprehensive and precise documentation of business specifications and requirements to facilitate development efforts and contribute to project documentation.
  • Collaborate with GTT technology teams throughout all phases of the system development life cycle, bridging the gap between business and technology.
  • Engage in ad hoc project work across various GTT initiatives.
  • Support the maintenance and production of GTT platforms.
  • Work with the Business team to analyze regulatory documents and interpret requirements.
  • Prepare Business Architecture and Business Requirement documentation.
  • Create Functional Requirements specifications and maintain a Business Data Requirements Inventory with definitions.
  • Define Functional Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
  • Provide functional guidance to the technology team.
  • Understand key liquidity regulations such as FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and NCCF.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in Banking Risk Management, Regulatory Domain, or Liquidity Risk & Asset Liability Management.
  • 7+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in a complex IT solution environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in an agile framework.
  • Solid understanding of Liquidity Risk functions, including cash flows, haircuts, and liquidity asset eligibility assessments.
  • Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Experience in a Scrum master or delivery lead role.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for consistency in documentation and communication.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, ensuring alignment among stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys learning from and mentoring others.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
