About the Team
The Global Treasury Technology (GTT) team is responsible for providing technological support for business applications and liquidity reporting.
Position Overview
GTT is on the lookout for enthusiastic business analysts who are committed to continuous learning and have a keen interest in big data systems and their analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for analyzing big data systems. You will collaborate closely with business teams and cross-functional engineering leaders to gather data requirements for various big data and reporting initiatives within GTT.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of business functions to address challenges and leverage improvement opportunities.
- Ensure that business specifications and requirements documentation is meticulously prepared and thorough to support sizing and development efforts, serving as input for various project documentation.
- Collaborate closely with GTT technology teams throughout all phases of the system development life cycle, bridging the gap between business and technology aspects of the solution.
- Engage in ad hoc project work across various GTT initiatives.
- Contribute to the support and maintenance of GTT platforms.
- Interact with business teams and analyze regulatory documents to interpret requirements.
- Prepare Business Architecture and Business Requirement documents.
- Develop Functional Requirements specifications and maintain a Business Data Requirements Inventory with definitions.
- Provide overall functional guidance to the technology team.
- Familiarize yourself with key liquidity regulations such as FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and NCCF.
Essential Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Banking Risk Management, Regulatory Domain, or Liquidity Risk & Asset Liability Management.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a demanding IT system solution environment.
- 3+ years of experience in an agile environment.
- Solid understanding of Liquidity Risk functions including Cash flows, Haircuts, and eligibility assessment of Liquidity assets.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to listen, communicate, and articulate effectively.
- Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
- Experience in a Scrum master or delivery lead role.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for consistency in documents, requirements, and conversations.
- Excellent communicator and negotiator, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys learning from and teaching others.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science, with a strong emphasis on analysis, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
