The Team

The Role

GTT is on the lookout for an enthusiastic business analyst who is eager to learn continuously and has a strong interest in big data systems and their analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for analyzing big data systems. You will collaborate closely with business teams and cross-functional engineering leaders to gather data requirements for various big data and reporting initiatives within GTT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of business functions to address challenges and leverage improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure that business specifications and requirements documentation is meticulously prepared and thorough to support sizing and development efforts, serving as input for various project documentation.
  • Collaborate extensively with GTT technology teams throughout all phases of the system development life cycle, bridging the gap between business and technology.
  • Engage in ad hoc project work across various GTT initiatives.
  • Contribute to the support and maintenance of GTT platforms.
  • Interact with the Business team to analyze regulatory documents and interpret requirements.
  • Prepare Business Architecture and Business Requirement documents.
  • Develop Functional Requirements specifications and maintain a Business Data Requirements Inventory with definitions.
  • Define Functional Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
  • Provide overall functional guidance to the technology team.
  • Understand key liquidity regulations such as FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and NCCF.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Banking Risk Management, Regulatory Domain, or Liquidity Risk & Asset Liability Management.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a demanding IT system solution environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in an agile setting.
  • Solid understanding of Liquidity Risk functions, including cash flows, haircuts, and liquidity asset eligibility assessment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with excellent listening, communication, and articulation abilities.
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries for data mining.
  • Knowledge of Python is an advantage.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Experience in a Scrum master or delivery lead role.
  • Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for consistency in documents, requirements, and conversations.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, ensuring alignment among all stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys learning from and teaching others.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Computer Science, with strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
