About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Market Leadership, Mining Expert to join our team at Marler & Associates Search. As a key member of our Business Development management team, you will be responsible for leading our mining business development team and driving revenue growth in both Ontario and Quebec.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, market research, and business development, with a proven track record of success in the mining industry. You will be responsible for building a highly productive sales pipeline, driving revenue and margin growth, and collaborating effectively with leaders in other regions and markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement market research and sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed revenue expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant technical science or engineering discipline, or a degree in Business Administration.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sales leadership, market research, and business development, with a strong background in the mining industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and market share.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of sales professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel on business, with a valid driver's license.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
