Restaurant Operations Manager

A&W Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery, maintain high standards of quality, and minimize waste.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their roles and responsibilities.
- Financial Management: Manage cash handling, balance sheets, and cash reports, ensuring accurate financial records and minimizing losses.
- Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals.
- Certifications and Training: Maintain relevant certifications, such as the Serving It Right Certificate, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work Setting: Urban area.
- Budgetary Responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000.
