Retail Store Manager

Pioneer Portdover is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
- Merchandise Management: Authorize returns, manage inventory, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, manage cash, and oversee payroll administration.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
