Retail Store Manager

Pioneer Portdover is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
- Merchandise Management: Authorize returns, manage inventory levels, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, address supply shortages, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, manage cash handling, and oversee payroll administration.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to improve employee performance.

- Cultural Competency Training: Provide training and awareness programs to promote cultural understanding and sensitivity among employees.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist in the recognition of foreign credentials and provide support to newcomers and refugees in their transition to the Canadian workforce.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
