About the Role

Pioneer Portdover is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
  • Merchandise Management: Authorize returns, manage inventory, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, manage cash handling, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and coach employees to achieve sales goals.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
