Key Responsibilities- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and supervisors to provide exceptional customer service.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that stock is rotated regularly.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates and supervisors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Cash Handling and Payroll: Manage cash handling procedures, including counting and reconciling cash and preparing payroll.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
