About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team at Servus Credit Union. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for delivering personalized advice to our commercial and agriculture members, managing a portfolio of commercial loans and deposits, and driving sales, service, and growth of that portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective sales and marketing efforts to maximize Small Business and Commercial Loan growth, deposit growth, and sales of peripheral products to help our members succeed in business.
  • Proactively build relationships with existing and future members, the retail branch network, local business owners, and members of the professional community.
  • Stay up-to-date on lending and deposit services, products, policies, and legislation.
  • Maximize our existing portfolio, including loan and deposit growth.
  • Develop and submit renewal applications.
  • Recommend rates within discretionary limits and approve loans within lending authority.
  • Evaluate requests on the basis of policy, risk, and profitability.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive lending and commercial banking experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in all facets of credit granting and sales of business banking products over a three to seven year period.
  • Business banking experience, including business development, underwriting, compliance, and a basic knowledge of portfolio management.
  • Experience working and developing relationships with members, potential members, influential community people, and employees.
  • University degree in a business discipline or sufficient experience in lieu of education.
