Sales Representative - Electrical Solutions

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a prominent distributor of electrical solutions, seeking a dedicated Sales Representative for the British Columbia region.

This role is ideal for a dynamic salesperson with a proactive approach (hunter mentality) and a solid understanding of electrical products. Our client serves industrial and commercial construction sectors, along with renewable energy and power transmission contractors. If you excel in client interactions and have a talent for fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, this opportunity is tailored for you.

The successful candidate will operate remotely, traveling throughout British Columbia. The primary focus will be on expanding market presence in Vancouver, with quarterly visits to Vancouver Island and the interior, and annual trips to Northern BC.

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets and profitability by establishing a top-tier electrical sales network that enhances sales and market share across the product portfolio.Manage the assigned territory to maximize revenue across selected product lines.Identify new project opportunities, ensuring awareness and accountability for the company's profitability and success on each project.Generate monthly sales forecasts and strategize to meet sales objectives.Adhere to established processes and procedures throughout all business phases.Drive annual market share growth and secure new channel partners in line with assigned goals.Evaluate the territory distribution and identify areas for coverage improvement, including re-engaging existing customers and acquiring new ones.Collaborate closely with leadership to manage all factors affecting your region.
Qualifications:
Proficient in consultative selling techniques, needs assessment, and strategic planning.Possess a background or knowledge of electrical products and solutions (e.g., Red Seal Electrician, C Tech).Demonstrated success in selling electrical products and solutions to contractors or related experience.Proven track record in managing a large territory and expanding an existing client base.Self-driven with a strong desire to succeed; capable of working from a home office and traveling 30 to 40% of the time.Competent in using Word and Excel.Valid driver's license and passport required.
